Katherine Heigl

 Katherine Marie Heigl, /'haIg@lor Hy-g@l, was born on November 24, 1978. She is an American actress. She played the role of Dr. Izzie Stevens on the ABC television medical drama Grey's Anatomy from 2005 to 2010. The role brought her recognition and accolades, including the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series in 2007.Heigl started her career as a child model with Wilhelmina Models before turning her into acting. She made her film debut in That Night (1992) and later appearing in My Father the Hero (1994) as well as Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995). After landing the role of Isabel Evans (1999-2002) on The WB television show Roswell She received nominations for Saturn and Teen Choice Awards. She was later a child model for Wilhelmina Models prior to turning her attention to acting.
