 Miss Connecticut USA 2018, Jamie Hughes, crowned Acacia. Jamie was Miss Connecticut at Miss USA 2018, however she was unable to be selected for the final. The queen who was ejected was overwhelmed by joy after finding her successor and was crowned. Acacia expressed her happiness and feelings were posted via her social media accounts and asked "Is this real?" I'm overwhelmed, humbled and elated for being Miss Connecticut USA 2019. I have many other thank-you's however for the moment I'll be sleeping in this crown and the sash! Let's make this our best year ever! ! "Acacia is beautiful and well-rounded lady with the brain. She is all set to face the challenge of becoming Miss USA 2019. She is enjoying the luck and good expectations from Connecticut and is sure to be a model for other contestants.
